WHO WE ARE

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to offer a bridge, a platform of exchange, between the world of watchmaking and the students of the University of St. Gallen. On the one hand, the Watch Club acts as a gateway for students to the watch industry; nurturing passion, broadening perspectives across its different dimensions (be it marketing, production, the second-hand market…), and functioning as a stepping stone for internships and careers in the watchmaking industry.

On the other hand, the Watch Club acts as a point of contact for watch brands looking to connect with the student body, providing the industry with fresh perspectives and prospective candidates. The Watch Club also works on expanding company presence on campus.

Extraordinary Experiences

Past events include: watch hunts, exclusive manufactures visits (Zenith, Omega, H. Moser & Cie, IWC, TAG Heuer, Greubel Forsey…), boutique experiences, guest lectures, and more.

Our Core Values

We strive to be a relaxed group of watch enthusiasts that is open to all, in which members can easily contribute to the community and find like-minded peers. (No matter if you’re an Assessment-year student or an Alumni, if you wear a highly-complicated movement on the wrist or you appreciate the simplicity of a digital watch, we have a spot for you.) Likewise, being an association based at one of Europe’s leading business schools is also reflected in our principles: luxury brands can rely on our professionalism, know-how and entrepreneurial spirit for a stable, well-polished and rich collaborative experience.

What I like about watches:

Watches embody a refined savoir-faire that has endured for centuries. But beyond that, there is a family legacy initiated by my grandfather, who passed on his interest in these miniature masterpieces.
